Lobuche Peak Climbing - Trip Overview
Standing on top of Lobuche, present the most charming costumes in front of you and enjoy the panoramic view of sixty-six degrees of the mountains. The peaks near the Khumbu glacier provide the best views of the Khumbu Mountains, such as Mount Everest, Mount Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Lhotse, mountain Nuptse, etc. To achieve the glory of the world, Everest base camp, experience the climbing adventure on the top of Lobuche, Lobuche is the last settlement to visit the Everest base camp. Lobuche mountaineering is technically difficult, and people should have some ice skills to climb steep, vertical and snowy roads.
When it comes to climbing, it is very difficult and must be able to withstand the harsh climate, as well as the air. Due to steep and rocky technical climbing, people must have the right skills to handle ice, ax and rope. Previous experience is a necessary condition to successfully complete this expedition. The magnificent landscape of the mountains is like Pumori, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Everest, Khumbu Himal, Khumbu Icefall, etc. they will be a blessing for all your hard work.

Accommodations
We will be staying at 3 star hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. And Single supplement will be served on request and will have additional cost. We will have rooms with attached washrooms in most parts of the trek but according to place it can be afforded. In higher elevations single rooms are not available like in Kathmandu and the lower elevation regions but Himalayan Adventure Nepal will do our best for your happiness.
Meals
All meals will be served during hiking, while Kathmandu and Pokhara only offer breakfast. The hotel will also offer welcome and farewell dinner. The most common dishes on most menus are Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian and the most common Continental.
Can I accomplish this trek?
Though Lobouche Peak climbing is technical and more challenging you still need more stamina, however having some knowledge on using climbing equipments will still be an asset. There will also be a pre -ice climbing training for participants in the Lobouche Peak. The training will mostly be about using climbing gears such as ropes, ice pick, harness, crampons.
There are two dimensions for the Lobouche climbing .Normally you need 5-6 hours of walking every day. In the summiting day however, you will be required to walk for up to for 10-12 hours. Himalayan Adventure Nepal advice you to prepare yourself by jogging 12 km every day for around 3 months before you start your trip. Your pre-existing medical conditions are very important such as heart, lung, and blood diseases to consult their doctor before taking the trip and you need to inform us before booking.
Best Time to Travel
Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for this trek. If you have some other time than this we can customize and make the trip viable.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu
Day 2 Preparation for trek and Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour
Day 3 Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours
Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6 hours
where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat and textiles.
Besides being a splendid destination to shop for traditional crafts, Namche remains the central trading post in the Khumbu that attracts Himalayan and lowland merchants. You will spend two days at Namche for acclimatization, visit local markets and spend time with your team. On the hike we capture our first glimpses of Everest and neighboring peaks.Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day5 Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel
Day 6 Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 7 Trek to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 8 Dingboche to Nagerjun (5100m/16728ft) and return Duration: 6 hours
The main aim is to climb high and sleep low. The foot path becomes steep at times, resulting in a physically strenuous day. Ascending the hill could take up to 5 hours at altitude.
From this altitude there are good views of Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), Kangtega (6685m) and Ama Dablam (6856m). On a clear day, you could even see Makalu, the world’s fifth highest mountain, including great views of the Pheriche Valley.
After a short rest, you start the descent back to Dingboche and the walk at altitude takes about 2 hours. After lunch, take a well deserved rest, as afternoon temperatures could drop rapidly as the sun sets over the mountain tops. You will also spend a second night in Dingboche. Day 9 Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) Duration: 5 hours
Day 10 Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) Duration: 8 hours
There is not much elevation gain, but there are a lot of ups and downs and, combined with altitude, this can be an exhausting trek – but the journey is worth it. After approximately 3 hrs of hiking, you will arrive at the base camp and enjoy a magnificent view of the Khumbu glacier and icefall, where the Everest expeditions begin. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 11 Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m/18218ft) - Gorekshep - Lobuche peak base camp (4910m/16105) Duration: 6 hours
Pre-Climb Training: Our guides will provide you training on peak climbing techniques after the lunch. They teach you how to use climbing gears such as ice axe, climbing boot and crampons, harness, ascender etc. and on how to go up and down using ropes. This helps you to increase your chances to scale the summit and enjoy the experience fully.
Day 12 Summit to Lobuche east peak (6119m/20070ft) then back to Pheriche (4210m/13008ft) Duration: 10-12 hrs
Day 13 Reserve day for contingency
Sometimes you or your group members may get some problems in acclimatizing. This day may be used in case. If the trip goes smoothly, we do not need this spare day. Overnight in the tent/guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 14 Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 7 hours
Day 15 Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hours
Day 16 Fly back to Kathmandu

- Standard twin-sharing accommodation in a three-star hotel in Kathmandu including breakfast 3 nights).

- Nepal entry visa - You can obtain the visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 15 days can be obtained by paying USD 25 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days and 90 days can be obtained by paying USD 40 and 100 respectively. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos.)
