Booking and payment
A booking becomes confirmed when HAN accepts your reservation and receives the required deposit. The balance and payment schedule shown on your invoice apply to your trip.
Changes and cancellations
Cancellation charges may increase as departure approaches because permits, transport and supplier services are committed in advance. Requested changes are subject to availability and any resulting cost.
Passports, visas and permits
Travelers are responsible for valid travel documents and entry eligibility. HAN arranges only the permits specifically listed as included in the confirmed itinerary.
Health, fitness and altitude
You must disclose relevant medical conditions and assess whether the itinerary suits your fitness and experience. The trip leader may change a route or require a participant to stop when safety is at risk.
Insurance
Appropriate travel insurance is required for remote and high-altitude trips. Coverage should include medical treatment, evacuation, cancellation and the activities and elevations in your itinerary.
Itinerary changes and force majeure
Weather, road conditions, government action, natural events and other circumstances beyond our control may require changes. HAN will make reasonable alternative arrangements, but additional costs may be payable by the traveler.
Conduct and local law
Travelers must follow local law, respect communities and comply with reasonable instructions from the trip leader. Serious unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the trip without refund.
Questions
Ask for the complete terms applicable to your itinerary before paying a deposit. Your proposal and invoice take precedence where they contain trip-specific conditions.
