This classic Everest base camp in Tibet is an exploration and experience of the amazing culture of Tibet, undulating hills, destroyed fortresses, artistic abbeys, centuries-old caravan trails, breathtaking landscapes and other forms of life. Our trip to Everest Base Camp in Tibet begins with an amazing flight through the Himalayas through the spectacular Kanchenjunga peak (8536 m) to the sacred land of Lhasa and, of course, the mountains. Everest. We have three nights to adapt to the environment in Lhasa. We have witnessed the historical sights and sounds of ancient Shangri-La, such as the Potala Palace, the Norbulinkha Temple, the Jorkhang Temple, Sera and the Drepung Monastery. We visited Gyantse to explore historical forts and monasteries.

In Shigatse, we visit the impressive Tashilhunpo Monastery, the former seat of the Panchen Lama, and then we passed through the wind-swept Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the spectacular Rongbu Valley and Mount Everest Base Camp. The view of Beikang from the mountains is very striking from the base camps of Everbuk and Everest. You are fascinated by the imposing mountain roads and rugged terrain, as well as the incredible formation of the highest in the world.

It is great to see the beautiful rocky waterfalls and canyons hidden slightly in the misty flight of the mountains. Shisapangma (8212 m) returned to the Nepalese board of directors on our way to end the exciting trip to Mount Everest Base Camp in Lhasa.

Take a trip to the most amazing and hidden north of Mount Everest in Everest base camp in Tibet and experience the beautiful mountain scenery of Tibet, the "Roof of the World". We travel along the same path used by climbers of Everest to end our trip to the Everest Premium Camp of 6,340 meters. The trip begins in Lhasa and we will visit the Potala Palace and the Norbulingka Palace, as well as other landmarks in the city. Then, we went to Shigatse and finally to Lotingri, which is where the real walk begins.

During this period, we also visited several Tibetan places of interest, such as the impressive Tashilhunpo Monastery, the Stupa Khumbum and the Phalkot Monastery, which show the rich culture and history of the Tibetans. At the top of the highest peak in the world, Everest guarantees that we can see the majestic peaks, which is a surreal experience for any adventurer.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1 Arrival in Lhasa (3,650 m / 11,972 ft)
We travel directly to Nepal or travel to Lhasa through mainland China. If we decide to fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa, we will take a one-hour trans-Himalayan flight, which is considered one of the most beautiful routes in the world and takes us to the mountains. Mount Everest (8848m), Kanchenjunga (8536m) and other peaks of the Himalayas. It also offers breathtaking views of some of the highest glaciers in the Himalayas.

If we go from Lhasa to mainland China, we can take off from any major city or take the highest train route in the world to Lhasa. Representatives of the Himalayan Glacier will pick us up from the airport or train station to our designated hotel in Lhasa in about an hour. Once in our hotel room, it is recommended to take a proper rest during the rest of the day to reduce altitude sickness. Spend the night in Lhasa
Day 2 Visit to Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibetan Traditional Hospital: 5 to 6 hours
We started sightseeing in Lhasa after breakfast. Today is the day we visited the beautiful Potala Palace and the Norbulingka Palace. Built in the seventeenth century, the Potala Palace offers breathtaking views of the entire city, the private area of the Dalai Lama and many large and large rooms and chapels. The Norbulingka Palace is the summer residence of the Dalai Lama and is considered the largest artificial garden in Tibet. We also visit the Tibetan Traditional Hospital, which is the center for treatment, training, research and production of Tibetan medicine. Spend the night in Lhasa.

Day 3 Visit to Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Bajiao Market: 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we visit the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, the Jokhang Temple and the Bajiao Market. Built in the 14th century, it is believed that the Drepung Monastery had housed some 10,000 monks in the past, but so far this monk has been badly degraded, with only a few hundred. The history, culture and religious beliefs of Tibetans are concentrated in this wonderful monastery. The Sera Monastery is a well-preserved monastery with white walls and golden roofs. The Jokhang Temple is another important sacred place that reveals the deepest mystery of Tibetan Buddhism. We continue walking in the bazaar of Barkhor (market). It has outdoor stalls, shops and pilgrims, and is the nerve center of Lhasa. Spend the night in Lhasa.

Day 4 From Lhasa to Shigatse (3,900 m / 12,795 feet), after the province of Gyantse: 367 km, from 6 to 7 hours.
After breakfast, we take the Gyantse to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. We pass the Khamba La pass (4,794m) and enjoy the breathtaking views of Yomdrok-Tso (Turquoise Lake), one of the sacred lakes in Tibet. Nazin Kang Sa (7.252 m). On the west side, we find another pass, Karo La (5,045 m), to enjoy the magnificent view of the glacier. After arriving in Gyantse, we visited Khumbum Stupa, Phalkot Monastery and Gyantse Dzong (Fort), one of the best preserved dzongs in Tibet. From Gyangze, we continue to enjoy the enchanting mountainous landscape on the road in Shigatse. We will spend the night in Shigatse.

Day5 Driving from Shigatse to the old pavilion - Temple of Lange (4490m): 330km
We will start our trip in the morning and drive through two large mountain passes, Tso La Pass (4,500 m) and Gyatso La Pass (5,220 m) and some beautiful villages where we will get the first view of the mountain. From the foot of Gyatso La Pass to Mount Everest. Lao Tingri, also known as Dingri, was once an important trading post. Sherpa of Nepal used Tibetan wool, cattle and salt to exchange rice, cereals and iron. We will continue driving to the Langkor Monastery in Dingri. Gompa or the temple was built in the meditation cave of Padampa Sange and became home to the Tibetan Buddhism School of Dampapa. We will spend the night in Langkor.

Day 6 Trek Langkor Monastery to Cho Oyu Camp (5100m): 5 hours
Today we begin to walk towards Cho Oyu's camp. This is one of the most beautiful trails of today, since we will walk in front of the Cho Oyu Mountain of 8188 meters, which is the sixth highest mountain in the world. This is one of the most famous snow mountains in the world where climbers can climb to the top. The base camp of this wonderful mountain is the most memorable adventure. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Mt.Cho Oyu and Nangpa La Pass. Overnight at the base camp.

Day 7 Trek Cho Oyu Base Camp at the foot of Lamna La Pass (4750m): 4-5 hours
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, enjoy the magnificent views of the mountain. At Cho Oyu and Nampala of our camp, we walked from the base camp to the southeast of the Longgang Valley and then to the upper part of Longjiang Village. We can find some wild animals on the route, including blue sheep, foxes and wolves. There is also a beautiful nomad camp at the foot of Lamna La, where we can share life experiences with Tibetan nomads, where they can graze herds, yaks and other animals. Overnight at the foot of Lamna La Pass.

Day8 Hike to the Dzakarchu River - Rongbuk Monastery (5000 m): 6-7
We started walking along a steep path and climbed up to the Lamna La Pass (5250m) while enjoying the breathtaking views of the mountains. Cho Oyu, Lungjang Valley and Nangpa La Pass are together with other snow-capped mountains. A three hour uphill walk will take us to the top of Lamna La, from where we will descend into a marshy valley and take to the Dzakarchu River. Since it is a steep descent, it takes approximately 2 hours to reach the Dzakarchu River. We will continue walking in the valley of Dzakarchu, the first view from the mountain. Everest began to appear and, finally, came closer and closer to our eyes, bringing a sense of pride, close to the highest mountain in the world, without high-altitude obstacles. Then we arrived at the Rongbuk Monastery, where we could rest our painful feet and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains at sunset. Everest at night. We will spend the night in the Rongbuk monastery.

Day 9 Rongbuk to Everest base camp (5,250 m / 17,220 ft): 4-5 hours
Today, we are walking towards the base camp of Everest, which is the highlight of the trip. The basis for reaching the highest peak in the world is an achievement in itself. We can use our camera to capture this achievement while we stay busy on short trips, which will help us adapt to great heights. At Base Camp, we also enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains, the highest peak in the world and the mountains. Everest, rising above us. Overnight at the Everest base camp.

Day 10 Adaptation and exploration of the Everest Base Camp
Spending a whole day at the Everest base camp is not only an unforgettable experience, it will also help the environment to adapt. We can climb and explore the beautiful nearby hills and enjoy the peaks of the Himalayas. Overnight at the Everest base camp.

Day 11 Everest Base Camp to the Japanese camp (5,460 m / 17,913 ft): 12 km, 3 to 4 hours
Starting from the base camp of Everest, we first walked through the Rybuk glacier, an impressive frozen sea of ice and sea. Then, after a short walk through the gravel terrain, we walked along the side of the flannel glacier and passed the glacier from the east. After an hour or so, we follow the path on the left that leads to the Japanese camp. This camp is under huge yellow rocks. In this place, we appreciate the view of the Pumori Himalayas. Overnight in the Japanese camp.

Day 12 Japanese camp to temporary camp (5,800 m / 19,028): 7 km, 4-5 hours.
The improvised camp is at the end of the nearby glaciers. Throughout the walk, we enjoyed the huge ice peaks. As we were marching towards the dusty valley, we were greeted by the spectacular views of East Rongbu Glacier and Pumori (7,161 m / 23,494 ft) and Nuptse (7,861 m / 25,791 ft). Although we can feel very high, technically, this route is very easy. Spend the night in the temporary camp.

Day 13 Trekking to Long Beach Camp (5,950 m / 19,520 ft): 5 km, 3 to 4 hours
Changtse is located near the northern part of Mount Everest, so the name Changtse means the North Peak in Tibetan. Today, we leave the base camp of Japan and walk to the base camp of Chang, which may be the best panoramic view of Mount Everest. Short trips will also help us adapt to the environment.

Day 14 Trekking to Everest Premium Camp and return to Long Beach Base Camp (6,340m / 20,800ft): 7-8 hours
As we move along the east side of the flannel glacier, we are close to Mount Everest and Lhakpa Ri (7045 m). Throughout the hail ruins, we arrive at the destination, the Alto Base Camp Mount Everest (ABC), located near the glacier.
Day 15 Return to EBC and drive to Lotingri (4,348m/14,268ft): 5 -6 hours trek, 2 hour drive
The return to Base Camp is a downhill trek. Today, we aim to get back to the base camp as slowly as possible in order to avoid any kind of high altitude problems. On our way back, we enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape that Tibet so proudly boasts. After reaching the Everest Base Camp we drive to Tingri. Overnight in Tingri.

Day 16 Drive from Lotingri to Kerung (2800m/9186ft): 4-5 hours
We begin our drive to Kerung after breakfast. Kerung is a small town in Nepal which borders with Tibet. We freshen up after reaching Kerung and take a long-needed rest. Today’s short drive will give us plenty of time for resting. Overnight in Kerung.

Day 17 Kerung to Kathmandu by drive
Today we leave Tibet and drive to the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. We begin our drive after an early morning breakfast. On our way we can compare and contrast the change in landscape, culture and people. After reaching Kathmandu we freshen up. There will be a farewell dinner hosted by HAN to celebrate the successful completion of our journey in the mountains. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 18 Final departure
Our Everest Advanced Base Camp Trek from Tibet, trip of 18 days ends today. A representative from HAN will pick us up from our hotel and drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
